Editorial Correction, Retraction & Integrity Policy
UnivColl International Multidisciplinary Research Journal (UIMRJ) stands as a guardian of the permanent scholarly record. We adhere strictly to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to ensure that any post-publication changes are handled with 100% transparency and academic rigor.
The Version of Record (VoR) Integrity
Once a paper is published, it becomes an immutable part of the permanent academic archive. To maintain Indexing Readiness for elite databases like Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE, UIMRJ ensures every modification is:
- Linked via Persistent Identifiers (DOI).
- Updated in the Crossmark Metadata for real-time status tracking.
- Synced with Google Scholar Metadata for citation accuracy.
Mechanism of Amendments
Errata
Publisher-led corrections regarding layout, typesetting, or metadata entry errors.
Corrigendum
Author-led updates for significant errors that do not invalidate research findings.
Addenda
Crucial clarifications or additional data discovered post-publication.
Formal Retraction & Withdrawal Protocol
In alignment with COPE Standards, UIMRJ issues a formal Retraction Notice if there is evidence of Plagiarism, Data Fabrication, or unethical research. Retracted articles are never deleted; they remain with a clear "RETRACTED" Watermark to preserve historical integrity.
